About the Venue
Bankfield Museum is a Victorian mansion house set in the grounds of Akroyd Park. The original building was considerably developed by Edward Akroyd during the mid 1800’s, in the Italianate style. Today it boasts an impressive marble staircase, with stunning wall decoration, the grand saloon, dining room and library also retain many of their original features. Today the building is a museum with a range of fascinating exhibitions and plenty of inspiring breakout spaces.
